Prayer Labrinth

Over this weekend I went to Camp Johnsonburg with members of my church and another church from Trenton. At J-Burg (what we call the camp) there is a prayer labyrinth in the middle of the woods. To give you a little background on the labyrinth, it is made up of rocks and there are trees growing in certain spots.

On the first night I was there, my friends (Tadd, Kelly, Kenz, Mel and Than) and I walked out in the dark, freezing cold. Only some had flashlights with us and I was not one of them. Once we got there I was the first to go in.

The beginning of the labyrinth was sorta easy because some of the light was being shinned on the ground but when you are in the begining of a line of people and you have no way of knowing where you are going, your going to trip and that's exactly what i did is stumbled and tripped my way through the labyrinth and I even went the wrong way and one point. However I did make it to the end and makeing it though to Part 1 of the end was so moving for me. What made life even easier is after I was ready to make my way back Tadd walked before me and lighted the way for me. What I thought was so amazing was that when someone has the tools to walk though life (in this case it was a flashlight) the people following have it easier because now they know where they are going. While in the prayer labyrinth I was happy to have Tadd infront of me because I had a feeling that if I was leading again I would have tripped and stumbled again. Sometimes you just have to let someone else lead when you aren't ready enough and don't have the tools to reach your final destination safely.
